Here’s the part 2 that I referenced in the last post. Today’s theme is “One-Person Bands.” (Might as well go with a theme, no?)
As for Reggie Watts, well, I just kind of stumbled across this video. I’d heard of him before, but hadn’t checked him out. It’s just one of those things… so much music, so little time.
I started this dang weblog. I might as well use it for something. Here are a couple of great one-person “bands.”
Tune-Yards put out what turned out to be one of my favorite records from 2009. It’s probably too weird for a lot of people, but it’s hard to deny her talent.
Also, it is not too weird for me. Any of it.
